Course Description
Understanding all the legal-ese and vague language of insurance policies can be confusing and daunting.
Do you know the fine print of your current insurance policy?
Are you wondering if there's a better policy for you?
I'll give you a downloadable Info Sheet with all the ins and outs of five different insurance companies that work with acupuncturists. The fine print, their prices, and their contact info.
We'll compare and contrast their advantages and disadvantages.
I'll walk you through it and make sure you really understand everything you need to consider.
So you can choose the best company and policy for you.
And rest assured that you and your practice are well-covered.

Read MoreI'm considering changing insurance companies because I am moving to a full time practice, and I am specializing in fertility. I needed help figuring out who covered what, and what insurance companies even covered acupuncture. Katie's course covered all the questions I had; she also raised some points I didn't consider. WORTH EVERY MINUTE! And it's free. Make sure you download the PDF; it put all the information in a very easy to compare form. And, yes, I am switching my carrier based on this course, and gaining peace of mind. THANK YOU Katie!

Read MoreI appreciate your gathering this important information for our industry. Great job on describing the terms and providing your expert point of view! Since many practitioners sell packages, I want to bring this to your attention. I recently joined a practice that sells pre-paid acupuncture packages and reached out to AAC to see if they have any special requirements. They asked me to sign a form acknowledging that they may exclude pre-paid package treatments if such packages are not permitted by state laws. I'm in SC and was given feedback from the licensing board and insurance commissioner that they are not aware of any prohibitions against pre-paid packages. I want to know for sure I'm 100% covered and don't feel comfortable signing something that would leave a potential gap in coverage. Have you heard of this exclusion? There are two areas of concern around pre-paid packages that I've heard about in the past, but don't claim expertise: - The credit card act protects consumers for gift cards, which pre-paid packages might fall under. - Selling pre-paid packages can be considered "selling insurance" in certain states. I just thought I'd pass this along. Many thanks for your great video and download!

Read MoreDefinitely helped clear up some of the confusing terminology in malpractice policies. There are other companies that aren't mentioned here (including the one I prefer... have been using... and will continue to use after watching) but the information can be used to conduct a more thorough search on your own. Worth watching and I am thankful that she took the time to make this well-produced course.
